LPK’s built in tire assistance
LPK has an air compressor in the back of his van. I mean literally in the back, built in, to his van. Attached to the air hose he has an awesome tire gauge. We tested Pat’s tires and sure enough he needed air. Pat was very concerned that LPK would let out more air than he would put in. His fears were unfounded.

My Bloody Valentine in Chicago
This was the line to get in, wrapped around the block. They kept telling us “me to the left, ladies to the right”. I couldn’t figure out why the sex disparity, but then once we were inside they frisked everyone for weapons. Luckily I left my Glock at home.

Art, Ryan and I getting ready to ROCK!

MBV on stage. Kevin Shields to the right, Bilinda Butcher on the left, Debbie Googe in the back on bass and Colm O Ciosoig on drums in the back.

I also have a link to a song from the show (when they went through Fuji with it) that is pretty good quality here:
I loved seeing them live. It’s been something I’d been looking forward to all summer.
Breakfast before Wallyball
At the Pike Place Market
We did the Pike Place Fish Market last Saturday with Tamara and Steve Johnson – my (my mom’s) cousin and her husband. Dahlia joined me as Monti and Elsa were at Monti’s audition (see Elsa’s blog for more on that). Was good to see both of them – they had just gotten off a cruise to Alaska. We then went out for some Thai food at one of my favorite places – Typhoon – near Pike Place. We did the Pike Place Fish Market last Saturday with Tamara and Steve Johnson – my (my mom’s) cousin and her husband. We used a pic similar to this for Monti’s headshot for her auditions this weekend. The other one was better.
