Dahlia to Monti:” Have you ever tried Peppermint?”
Monti:”No”
Dahlia:”It really really really really really pepperminty”.

My left leg has been aching and aching quite a bit lately. I finally went in today to get it checked. The PA told me that my lower L5 or something (right near the “BEAR” of BEARING in the pic below) is out 50% now and immediately scheduled an MRI which I also got today. I see a spine specialist Monday to discuss what the plan is.

Good times.

Saw this on the road yesterday. I’m guessing it doesn’t have air bags but not 100% sure. Maybe the half steering wheel was the giveaway.

Elsa and I had a kidless afternoon a few weeks ago and hiked Little Si in Snoqualmie.

We played online video poker a week or two ago. Art went all in with King-Ten suited. Mat called with Jack 7 suited. Art caught a pair on the flop, as did Mat. But Mat caught the 3rd Jack on the turn and beat him down. Art was ready to play something else so I don’t think he was too disheartened. Note I am the hot blonde on the end of the table. The night was finished by Mat and Pat chopping the take.

A week ago Wednesday 3 of my sites that I run got hit by several hackers. I ended up turning off the server to shut down any further activity, went in, cleaned it up and tightened up a few weaknesses. In the end I’m not 100% sure I’ve stopped them but there hasn’t been any further activity in over a week so we’ll see.

It’s amazing how brazen they are. See below – they even tell you how to find them. If only I were good enough to hack back…
