This morning we were talking about the new FBI child ID app and what to do (or not do) around strangers (stranger danger!). I then did a role play with Dahlia.

Me: “Hey little girl want to ride in my car? I have kittens and cupcakes!”

Dahlia: (pauses) “What kind of cupcakes?”

FAIL!

Overheard recently. Monti came busting into the kitchen spittin nails angry.
Monti: “I can’t stand Dahlia! She’s like a pretty Hitler!”

Mom and dad bought me tickets to see Steve Martin in concert this week with his Bluegrass band. 2nd row was great – it was surreal to see one of my heroes up close. The music was outstanding and Steve was hilarious. Really enjoyed myself. Mat joined me as well.

Art & Jen bought us some Lou Malnati’s Pizza from Chicago as a thank you. Can’t wait to eat em!
